Recipe : Grilled Calamari

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. cleaned baby squids (tubes and tentacles)

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp ground cumin

  • ½ tsp salt and pepper

  • ¼ tsp cayenne powder

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)

  • Oil (spray)


Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients including zest and 1 tbsp of lemon juice.

  2. Add squid and marinate for 30 mins.

  3. Leave whole or sliced into rings.

  4. Heat oil in griddle pan.

  5. Cook 2-3 mins or just until the squid turn opaque.

  6. Serve hot and garnish with lemon wedges.
